Earlier this year, University of New England officials expressed frustration and said they felt as if they were being publicly attacked because of their plans to construct a 180-foot research pier on the Saco River. Today, those same officials are touting the results of a recent opinion poll that shows “strong public support for the school’s mission and reputation.”

NEWS | FBI says Tuesday morning raid is part of ‘an ongoing investigation’
Several residents of Biddeford’s Cathedral Oaks neighborhood reported a “heavy police presence” early Tuesday morning that included agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to witnesses, law enforcement officers were seen coming in and out of a single-family residence at 41 Cathedral Oaks Lane. Witnesses say it appears that “several boxes of documents” were taken from the home.
