The previously undefeated Marshwood High School football team learned a lesson in humility on their home turf Friday when the Biddeford Tigers took control of the second half, posting 37 unanswered points for a crushing 37-14 win.
Biddeford (5-2) seemed anxious and more than ready to brush off last week’s loss in Skowhegan.

Marshwood started strong, setting the stage for a big win, 14-0, in the first half, but the Tigers rallied and stunned South Berwick fans by racking up 37 unanswered points, dominating the last three quarters.
Head Coach Steven Allosso said Biddeford’s defense was led by Alex Yossa, Yousif Asmshskheel and Alex Gosselin who returned an interception for a touchdown.
The crushing offensive line was led by Quarterback Ernie Dore, while juniors Estavao Lembissa and Stanley Richerson had more than 100 yards rushing, each snagging a pair of touchdowns, Allosso said.
Biddeford’s special teams were led by kicker/ punter Zander Huot and Jaxson Harmon.
The Tigers will host Cheverus High School on Friday, Oct. 23. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
